Automatic payments ensure that money is paid to tailors in a timely and orderly fashion - and exactly when it is should be paid. Given deposit and balance payments are automated by Fitted, the only way to get paid is to fulfill those actions required of you on the platform.

To get paid your deposit, you have to confirm you’ve received the fabric for the order. We do this because its fair that once you’re confirmed as having the fabric is the order now fully starting. You can reflect that you’ve received fabric by following these steps:

  1. **Dial 347*384# from your phone number registered with Fitted. You will be greeted by the applications home page, and your name will be displayed. You will be given a list of options to choose from relating to orders, payment, measurements and feedback. If you’re unsure of this, check this by messaging the Fitted WhatsApp line on +234 908 368 0999.
  2. Press 2 - “Change Order Status”. This should show you all order status options for your orders. Simply choose which update you want to make to the order - e.g. “Fabric received” when you get fabric delivered or “Sewing complete, awaiting pickup” when you are done with sewing and want to request Fitted pickup the outfit from you
  3. Press 1 - “Fabric received” - this tells Fitted that you have received the fabric
  4. Input Order Number - You will be asked for the order number you want to make this change for. This will be a 5 or 6 digit code with at least 1 hyphen, for e.g. 1006-6 or 2910-11.
  5. Confirmation message - You will receive a confirmation message of your order status change. By confirming fabric is received, Fitted will automatically pay you a 50% deposit of your outfit. To find out how to get paid your balance is paid, go here

</aside>

Your balance payment is dependent on two things:

  1. The quality of your work → determined by Fitted’s Quality Assessment (QA), and the Customer’s feedback. You need to pass QA within 2 attempts or you will be charged penalties. You may also have some charges levied against your account if a Customer’s alterations stems from a flaw in the outfit (i.e. a change from function of the outfit, not their preference)
  2. The timing of your work → for every day of lateness, penalties will be charged to you which will reduce your balance

You do not need to do anything to get your balance. You will be automatically paid once your outfit has gone through Quality Assessment and passed. You have 2 attempts at QA, whereupon if the outfit doesn’t pass QA.
